Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, which annually becomes a destination for up to 17,000 international students, primarily from China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Malaysia, India and the USA.
Monika, as part of her service with Friends International, strives to ensure that these students have the opportunity to form friendships with local Christians during their studies, who can provide them with practical help during their stay in Glasgow. International students can thus also learn about Jesus and later, when they return to their home countries, they can tell others about him there too.

My name is Nikol Lucie Sekulová and I have been serving in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje, for 4 years now. When I was 20 years old, I answered God’s call to go and serve unbelieving youth in Macedonia. Until now, I have been dedicated to working with young unbelieving people within the nonprofit worldwide organization Young Life, and from this September I will be dedicated to working with young people within my local charismatic Evangelical church in Macedonia. I was part of the formation of this charismatic church and I served on the church leadership team, and since 2018 I have been serving as youth leader.
In Macedonia, it is not common for organized activities for young people to exist, whether in the church or outside it. Therefore, my task for the next year will be to help get this ministry started. After 9 years in a mission organization, the Lord God has laid missionary work with youth within the local church on my heart.
Skopje, North Macedonia
Raising the target amount will enable Nikol another year of ministry in Skopje and support the youth ministry in her local church Evangelska Crkva Aerodrom.
Jiří Folta has been in missionary work in the Czech Republic for a long time. He very naturally builds relationships with new people and for the last 4 years he has been living near Tábor, where he serves as a missionary in Sezimovo Ústí in South Bohemia.
Jirka started in Sezimovo Ústí on a so-called green field, he had not built contacts there before. Nevertheless, he managed to start groups with Bible reading and Discovering Christianity.
During the pandemic, he managed to continue in online format, both with song practice and with the Alpha course.
Jirka lectures Spiritual Heritage programs at elementary and high schools – about the Bible, Jan Hus and Jan Amos Comenius. These interactive programs are value-oriented and point to spiritual wealth that we don’t have to be ashamed of, but on the contrary can actively use in life. Since 2016, he has also been leading the missionary music project Sezimák sings gospel, where people experience acceptance and joy from singing gospel songs together and get acquainted with the gospel in a non-violent way. The group has gradually grown to approximately 70 enthusiasts. Jirka’s wife Zuzka participates in spiritual work by leading seekers or newly converted through biblical counseling or basics of faith. At the same time, she is involved in coaching.

Sezimovo Ústí, Czech Republic
Sam, after completing his KAM (Christian Academy of Youth) internship in 2002, made the decision to leave the engineering company where he had worked for 17 years, and engaged full-time in various projects:
Among other things, he organized lectures, meetings with interesting guests and speakers, weekend events for families and experiential events for men. His main focus is teaching, training, coaching leaders and supporting mission work. He enjoys organizing new projects. Since 2018, he has been helping KAM in the “School for Life – Network of Christian Teachers” department, where he is coordinator for South Moravia.
Šárka has been collaborating with Sam for more than 22 years. She is involved in social work and counseling services for children, youth and women. They love young people and are excited when they see them making progress and sharing their lives with people around them. They live in Zlín, where they are involved in service in the local church.

Ondřej (Andy) Janeta, his story would be enough for several books and films. Not so much to celebrate him, but rather God’s goodness and constant favor of the Lord in his life. He served in prison, where he experienced countless miracles of conversion and healing among people who truly “hit rock bottom.”
He works as a volunteer coordinator for Liberec ADRA. In addition to regular volunteer training and supervision, he also organizes recitals – programs of songs, poetry and readings from God’s word. Currently, he is at the birth of the third volunteer center in a senior home in the Liberec Region.
In more than 30 years of life with the Lord
He serves with the word in various churches where he is invited throughout the Czech Republic. He is also a preacher in his home church My Father’s House in Turnov. He continues to engage in helping prisoners, as he himself experienced that change is possible! In March 2023, he joined the National Awakening Initiative, where he serves as an administrator. He co-organizes evangelistic campaigns together with National Revival Camps (NRC), which are attended by various churches and congregations in regions participating in the National Awakening Initiative. NRC have led to cooperation between churches and pastors who previously knew each other only superficially.
He also has a loving wife Lenka and two wonderful children Viky and Aaron.

Station K12 was established 15 years ago with the goal of becoming an independent church. However, during the Covid pandemic, the church shrank from nearly 80 members to just 20. The church is in a phase of renewal. Right now they need someone who could devote more time to building relationships with people in the community, leading small groups and initiating contact ministry. The current team consists of volunteers who either work full-time or are full-time mothers.
As a mission worker for the K12 church station, I initially plan to participate in existing programs such as Mothers’ Club, youth and regular Sunday afternoon services. However, my long-term goal is to start a new contact ministry that would benefit the local community. Currently, the team and I are praying and thinking about the nature of this new activity. We are considering a service focused on English for local children and the possibility of starting a Fusion music ministry.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Miriam Kuklínková is dedicated to missionary work at K12 in Brno-Medlánky, a station of the BJB Brno church.
He served 29 years as a pastor of the Unity of Brethren and within this church he founded several congregations. Since the beginning of 2024, he has been working part-time as head of the Christian Mission Society office. He is a member of the Prague Open Church congregation, where he regularly serves with the word.
Together with his wife Katka, they are invited to serve in churches of various denominations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They focus on teaching God’s word and prayer ministry for people’s needs, during which inner and physical healings occur. Some testimonies about this God’s work can be found on Tomáš’s personal website and YouTube channel.
Tomáš, as part of his position at KMS and outside of it, prepares activities that connect the church, build individuals in God’s word and contribute to encouragement in faith. He places main emphasis on personal relationship with the Father and trust in his grace. Tomáš and Katka Růžička have three adult daughters.

Hi, I’m Libor! And the Lord God has called me to serve young people mainly in Zlín, but also anywhere else. 😊 I grew up in a Christian family, but during adolescence I didn’t like church very much. I was always active and creative, which wasn’t much appreciated in the church where I grew up. I was sure that I definitely wouldn’t work in the church.
Thanks to studying at university, I got to Zlín, where the biggest change in my life occurred. In the first years, I advanced significantly in my field (advertising and marketing), won several competitions and founded a company with a friend. At the same time, however, I experienced a deep crisis of faith – so much so that I left God and became an atheist. However, the Lord God miraculously drew me back to himself and very clearly called me to ministry to young people in Zlín.
My life changed completely overnight – I ended my business, started leading the MOVE youth and began to live differently. I am incredibly grateful for all of that. Even though this work is sometimes demanding, it fulfills me and I know that I am walking the path that the Lord Jesus himself prepared for me.
Currently, apart from a few smaller projects in the secular sphere, I fully dedicate myself to working for Christ.

Libor Osouch is dedicated to God’s work in Zlín and beyond Zlín and helps wherever he is needed.
She has served people on the margins of society for many years. She worked with the Salvation Army with homeless people, and at Teen Challenge she served drug addicts and alcoholics. In 2001, she founded the Children and Youth Center in Žižkov, which has been serving Roma children from excluded localities for more than 20 years. In 2023, she moved to the Ústí Region, where she continued serving Roma children and youth. A year later, she experienced a calling to expand the ministry to adults as well and focus on preaching the gospel on the streets. During the first year of this ministry, more than 1,000 people heard the gospel.
People of all generations living especially in socially excluded areas, who struggle with a number of problems including addictions, foreclosures, unemployment, crime, prostitution, broken families, confusion in sexual identity, etc., most of whom have never heard the gospel and experienced God’s work.

Lucka Pohanková spreads the gospel in socially excluded areas through personal conversations accompanied by gifts of healing and words of knowledge.
Jmenuji se Jakub Pípal, vyrostl jsem v Olomouci ve věřící rodině. Sdílet Krista bylo pro mě vždy přirozené a viděl jsem to jako přirozenou součást životního stylu. Dělo se tak na základní škole, střední škole a později i na vysoké škole. V 15 letech jsem založil evangelizační křesťanskou kapelu Almost Good, kde hráli kluci, kteří uvěřili skrze mé svědectví a službu, které jsem byl součástí. V roce 2011 jsem byl součástí misijního výjezdu do Turecka. V roce 2013 jsem se oženil s Noemi a začali jsme spolu vést mládež Přístav v KSb Český Těšín. V tomto roce také vznikla chválová kapela ADONAI.
Na školení pro vedoucí mládeží jsme dostali od Pána Boha vizi zakládat sbory v Čechách. V roce 2015/2016 jsme byli společně na ročním pobytě ve Francii, kde jsem se věnoval převážně muslimským uprchlickým rodinám a Noemi pracovala s francouzskými dětmi v jeslích. V roce 2021 jsem se přestěhovali z Českého Těšína do Jižních Čech, kde jsme se přidali k týmu a společně začali zakládat novou práci v tomto regionu. Tak jsme založili K2 – Kostel na dvojce a já jsem se stal těsně po příjezdu vedoucím této služby. V roce 2024 jsme pořádali první příměstský Tábor FULHAUS v Sezimově Ústí pro děti ve věku 6 – 11 let.

Hodnoty: Chceme mít blízké vztahy jako v rodině. Věříme, že v předávání zodpovědností se naučíme nejvíce. Chceme, aby to, co děláme a říkáme bylo srozumitelné. Všechno, co děláme, chceme dělat, jak nejlépe dokážeme. Učíme se být milosrdní, štědří a pohostinní.

Jakub Pípal zasvětil svůj život šíření Kristova poselství – skrze chvály, zakládání nových sborů i organizaci dětských táborů.
Prokop se znovuzrodil v roce 2016 na mládežnické konferenci, když prožil Boží lásku a potřebu odpuštění. Duchovně potom vyrostl hlavně díky službě Connect Disciples během studia v Praze. Jeho život nabral nový rozměr, když poznal, že věřící mají chodit v uzdravení, proroctví a v moci Ducha svatého.
Anet vyrostla v křesťanské rodině a vztah s Bohem má od malička. Na gymnáziu v Sušici vedla modlitebně-evangelizační skupinku. Bůh ji po střední škole vedl do tříletého studia biblické školy Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry v Kalifornii.
Po svatbě jsme žili 3 roky v Olomouci, kde jsme vedli učenická setkání a sloužili v oblasti evangelizace. Podobné službě jsme se věnovali i napříč Českou republikou v rámci Národního probuzení a Connect Disciples.
V létě 2025 se nám narodila krásná dcera Ester.
Již před svatbou jsme během modliteb a v rámci sdílení se o budoucnosti vnímali, že nás jednou bude čekat dlouhodobější výjezd do zahraničí. V létě 2024 nám to začal Duch svatý připomínat. Při modlitbách se nám neustále vracela na mysl Latinská Amerika, konkrétně Argentina. Potvrzení ohledně této země jsme přijali i skrze modlitby ostatních.
Dále jsme se ptali, kde konkrétně máme být, a Duch svatý nám dal obraz vnitrozemní části. Následně jsme zjistili, že dvě spolubydlící, které Anetka měla na biblické škole, jsou právě z vnitrozemí Argentiny, z města Córdoba.
Córdobu jsme poprvé krátce navštívili v listopadu 2025. Seznámili jsme se s místní církví, mohli jsme zakoušet, jak to Duch svatý připravoval, potvrzoval a jak otevíral dveře.
Jako rodina chceme v Argentině sdílet evangelium (ať už skrze evangelizační akce nebo osobní rozhovory) a činit učedníky. Takové učedníky, kteří činí další učedníky. Už máme propojení s místní Boží rodinou a dostali jsme i nabídku ke službě, ale jak to přesně bude vypadat, ještě hledáme.
Sloužit a pomáhat na Božím díle v této jihoamerické zemi je pouze část našeho poslání. Druhou částí je se od místních učit a inspirovat. Rádi bychom, aby samotný výjezd i následný návrat byly co největším požehnáním pro naši rodnou zemi. Těšíme se, že nabyté zkušenosti a posílení ve víře budeme moct využít i u nás v ČR a Evropě.
V Argentině bychom rádi takto působili 2–3 roky.

We are a married couple who have been involved in youth work in Zlín and the surrounding area for many years. Vojta gained a lot of experience working with young people in Brno, where he grew up, and Eliška in Zlín.
Our joy is to accompany young people on their journey to adulthood, faith, and a meaningful life. We co-organize mission trips, winter and summer camps, and weekend experiential stays, where young people not only listen but also learn to take responsibility, serve others, and discover their calling. Our service also includes personal counseling and relationships with individuals and teams.
Our greatest joy comes from seeing transformed lives—when young people grow, get involved in ministry, and pass on what they themselves have received. We believe in investing in people, which bears fruit far beyond the borders of one country.
