The labyrinth of the world and the paradise of the heart

The labyrinth of the world and the paradise of the heart is also a movie. It concerns an allegorical journey of a pilgrim and his guides throughout the labyrinth of this world and final retrieval of paradise in the heart through a personal relationship with God. We intend to take advantage of Comenius’ popularity and pass on his legacy.

Production of 26 mini-episodes

Production is entrusted to the FILM21 company, which produced videos in Centennial Roots‘ project. Each episode takes approximately three weeks to produce and is five minutes long. Production includes drawing pictures, animations, making original music, noises, and dialogues for each episode. Dialogues were dubbed by popular actors Jiří Lábus and Oldřich Kaiser. Production is planned to take place from January 2019 to November 2020.

Promotion of the movie

We look for ways, how to spread the movie into people. We aim to cooperate with Česká televize offer them this movie to broadcast. After a broadcast in television programs, we want to gradually public each episode on social media such as Youtube and Facebook, one episode per week. The gradual publication will ensure growth in subscribers of our channel and the spreading of the movie via sharing. When it comes to organic spreading, we rely especially on the Christian community in the Czech Republic, articles, and pictures. We are planning to prepare games and questionaries as well.

Translation into other languages

In 2020, we are working on translating dub into various languages, to spread Comenius’ message.

Positive impact on the young generation

In cooperation with an ongoing project Comenius 2020, we want to offer the movie to schools and create an effective synergy to impact the young generation in the Czech Republic. This movie transformed into games and discussions will be able to use on children’s camps, youth group gatherings, discussion clubs, and as a side program to seminars about J. A. Comenius.
